Flashback: Johnny Cash

Hello there, my name is tldr and I'm an addic-Oh wait, wrong intro. Anyways, like I said, I'm tldr and this is my first post on this blog. So how about we just get started, eh?

Okay, Johnny Cash. He's already a legend so there really isn't any reason for me to further talk him up, so I'm just gonna paste some of my favourite Johnny Cash songs and hopefully you'll like them.

First is Folsom Prison Blues. The original version of this song was released on December 15 1955 as the eleventh track on his first album (title: With His Hot and Blue Guitar). This particular recording was done in 1974 in Tennessee Stat Penitentiary in front of inmtes for a special called "Behind Prison Walls".

Next is Man in Black. This song was first released in 1971 on the album of the same name, and it explains why he likes to wear black, basicly. This video was taken from some TV show in 1971 (Thats all the info I have).

The last song is Hurt. This song was written by Trent Reznor and released by Nine Inch Nails in 1994, but in 2002 Johnny Cash released his own version of the song, and I think he did a very good job. This video is the music video for Johnny Cash's version.

Honorable mention; Heart of Gold, a cover of Neil Youngs song. Although Neil Young did a very good job on this song on his own, and it has been covered by lots of other musicians, I must admit that Johnny Cash did a very good job on this one too.

Official Moviesenses Watchlist!

The official Moviesenses Watchlist is a new concept I am thinking of that I will write about atleast once a month. This list will contain movies that we have watched, and want to recommend to you. This month's watchlist will include movies that have just arrived to the big screen, and some available for purchase.

01. The Avengers
Genre: Action
Year: 2012
Dvd/Blueray: Yes

The Avengers is a collection of all your favourite superheroes together to save the planet from an unknown substance named Tesseract. If you enjoyed movies about superheroes like Captain America, The Hulk and Iron man, you will love this movie.

02. Flukt
Genre: Action
Year: 2012
Dvd/Blueray: Not yet

Flukt is a action film produced in Norway. The story takes place in 1835, ten years after a horrible disease wiped out half of the entire population in Norway. A family is attacked on the road by villains  Everyone but the daugther is killed, as she was captured by the villains. The setting works around Norway in the old days, with a Skyrim like surrounding and environment.

03. TED
Genre: Comedy
Year: 2012
Dvd/Blueray: Not yet

This movie will definitely make you laugh. As it is produced by the same people who made Family Guy, you will notice that certain characteristics that will relay to the show. When a young boy wishes upon a star to make his teddy bear alive so that they can be friends forever, a miracle happens. When he wakes up, his teddy bear is actually alive. Some years later when the boy is all grown up, his teddy bear is still his best friend, and little has changed since they were just kids. I personally recommend this movie for all you comedy fans out there.

That's all for now. Leave a comment if you have something to say about the watchlist. Tune in later for more updates and reviews of movies and music.

Sincerely,
Mr. White

Bridge Burning is now Foo Fighters number one hit, and Rope is on a close second place. Wasting Light is now one of the fastest growing albums on spotify, and is already on a shocking 5. place over best albums overall. You don't see many rock albums on this list regularly.
